Choosing Your News Sources Wisely

It’s more important than ever to choose your news sources wisely!

While the mainstream media continues to spin the news in a “politically correct” and Leftist direction, the very networks that got it all wrong are labeling the ones that got it right as “fake news.”

But the truth is that the major networks of the mainstream media have been losing their place in the hearts and minds of an increasing number of viewers and listeners.  By contrast, alternative media and independent media options are on the rise, and some which have been around for many years are finally getting the recognition they deserve.

Yet to win the information war, it is not enough to merely ignore the organizations that seek to undermine our freedoms.  It is still important to be aware of what the political Left is doing.

In order to defend and preserve our personal liberties—not to mention national sovereignty—it is sometimes necessary to expose the darkness.  There is, of course, a Scriptural basis for this.  In fact, Ephesians 5:11 is a Bible verse which clearly speaks to the matter:

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
~ Ephesians 5:11 (NIV)

People are sometimes reluctant to expose the darkness, because they do not want to be perceived as being judgmental.  But how many people suffer unnecessarily simply because people remained silent when they should have spoken up.

Consider the following quotes of the great parliamentarian Edmund Burke: 

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

“All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”

“When bad men combine, good men must organize.“

So whether it is doing something to prevent the triumph of evil…

…or speaking up so that tyranny does not gain a foothold…

…or organizing with good people in order to oppose the conspiracies of bad men…

…your selection of news sources impacts your ability to do all of these things, because we take action based upon what we believe.
