Are You Looking For An Online Group-Setting Bible Study That Involves You So That You Actually Learn More?

There’s an old saying about learning which applies to Bible Study as well.  “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”  This online Bible Study utilizes a platform that enables you to be as involved as you would like to be in order to learn as much as you desire to learn.
Among the many features included in this interactive platform, consider the chat feature.  It enables you to type a message to everyone or to communicate one-on-one with individuals during the Bible Study.  Got a related link that you would like to share?  No problem.  Just copy it from your browser’s address field and paste it into the chat box.
Want to share what’s on your screen with the rest of the group.  That’s easy, too.  Just click “Share Screen.” In such a setting, you could actually surprise yourself by how much you will learn.

Zoom.us

The platform that we use for our meetings is Zoom.us and it comes with many special features.  One of the reasons for this online Bible Study is to equip others to conduct their own online Bible Studies. We recommend this platform as a way to have all the tech-related stuff done for you in the background.  That way, you can focus on the message.

Don’t Miss This Bible Study!

Dear Student of the Scriptures,
The news can only report what is happening as it happens or after it has happened.

So if you only follow the news in order to understand what is happening, then it’s like having a thousand puzzle pieces without a picture of what the finished puzzle is supposed to look like.

Even worse, you’re not even sure whether you have all the pieces.

But there is One who has all the pieces, and He knows where all of them fit.  Moreover, He has the picture of what the finished puzzle is going to look like when all the pieces are placed.

God knows the end from the very beginning. He reveals deep and hidden things simply because He chooses to do so, and He reveals them to those who fear Him.

Back to the puzzle analogy…

You’ve suddenly got not only the puzzle pieces but also the box that has the picture of the finished puzzle on it.  No sooner do you realize what the finished puzzle is supposed to look like than something amazing begins to happen—the pieces start snapping into place by themselves before your very eyes.

They start snapping right into their respective positions.  You even begin to recognize patterns.  You begin to make connections.  You begin to understand.  Eventually, you begin to understand well enough so that your next desire is to share what you are seeing.  These are things that you wish everyone could see.  But when you realize they cannot see them, you are amazed—amazed, that is, until you remember that you did not understand them at first either.

You realize, however, that it is especially important that these things be made known to those who are in leadership positions.  After all, if these things are brought to their attention, then they will make decisions that will benefit many others.

So when you pray for leaders, your heart will earnestly desire that they would be given wise counsel, because you can plainly see the consequences of certain decisions—whether they be good or bad—well in advance.

As you continue to study the Scriptures, you discover that they disclose a deeper revelation each time you read them.

That’s amazing! You think to yourself, How did I not see that before?

Again and again, certain passages—yes, even individual verses within the passages—begin to leap off the page at you, so to speak.  Or they seem to be highlighted before your very eyes, though not with ink or color so much as spiritual light.

Your Heart Will Be Filled With Faith

Eventually, your heart will be filled with faith as you hear the Word of God, and this strengthens you and prepares you.

The Word of God prepares you for whatever the future holds, because the Scriptures reveal the One who holds the future.

You begin to realize that the Scriptures are alive.  And we are not just talking about a general source of inspiration.  No, it is actually much more specific than that.  It is as if God Himself is speaking to you right now.  Generally, this is true, of course, because these are His recorded words.

Sometimes, the words on the page become the very words of God to you at this very moment with special relevance to a situation that you are going through right now.

You have probably experienced this many times, actually, in the local church gathering.  When the word is being preached—regardless of whether it is the senior pastor, a guest speaker or just an individual sharing a praise report or their personal testimony—you experience that feeling again.

It’s the realization that God Himself is somehow communicating with you at that very moment.

You discover that from the beginning of time, yes, even before the foundation of this world, He had a plan to win your heart with a love so selfless and so irresistible that there could be only one reasonable response.

The Only Reasonable Response

And what response would that be?

Nothing less than a complete and total surrender of your life and your will to God’s plan and His purposes for your life.

It has been said that the purpose of a thing is in the mind of the Maker, and you discover an increasing need to know and comply with His purpose for your life.

Speaking of the last days, the Scriptures reveal something profound in the book of Daniel chapter 12 and verse 10.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Daniel 12:10 (KJV)

The wise shall understand.

Ponder that for a moment.  None of the wicked will shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Does this sound like the times in which we are living right now?

The purpose of this Bible Study is to examine what the Scriptures are revealing about today’s world.  It is to interpret current events through Bible Prophecy.

And why is this important?

It is important, because—as we will see in a moment—Bible prophecy and the ability to demonstrate ways in which it has been repeatedly fulfilled throughout history can be powerful evangelistic tools when it comes to winning souls for the Kingdom of God.

Consider what is revealed in the book of Acts regarding these things:

From one man He made every nation of men, to inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands. God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
Acts 17:26-27

Isn’t that awesome?

Implied in this passage of Scripture is something very profound.

God wants us to seek Him.  He wants us to reach out for Him.  He also wants us to know that He is not far from each one of us.

These words were actually spoken by the Apostle Paul one day when he was preaching in Athens, Greece. These words indicate that when the foreknowledge of God is revealed in such a powerful way as this, the only reasonable response is to seek Him.

It should be a natural response, shouldn’t it?

Of course.  It  only makes sense to take interest in Someone who knows everything there is to know about you and everything there is to know about your future?

But just to make sure that the men of Athens understood the proper response to this information, Paul continued:

Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all men everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising Him from the dead.
Acts 17:30-31

The Man to whom Paul was referring, of course, is Jesus, and the good news of all that Jesus accomplished for those who put their trust in Him is called the Gospel.
